Hot on the heels of Bruce claiming it’s time to publish PC games as Steam exclusives comes a rumor that Google is about to purchase Valve. Given that Google’s strategy seems to have been to own parts of digital distribution, it makes perfect sense. Now that the rumor is out, I’d be more surprised if it doesn’t happen, than if it does.
